Overview

The Kleine Zalze Lodge is situated 3 km from Stellenbosch and forms part of the De Zalze Wineland and golf estate. This family owned estate offers 4 star lodge accommodation, 5 star fine dining and some of the best wine tasting in the area.

The Estate features 120 acres of vineyards that are surrounded by the Stellenbosch mountians. The estate also features the De Zalze golf course which is one of the Capes finest locations along with other top-ranking golf courses in the winelands.

The lodge is ideally located near several leading art galleries, museums, beautiful boutiques, antique shops, jewelers, farm stalls and an exciting range of restaurants.

Accommodation

The lodge features 47 rooms in total including en-suite rooms and suites alongside the first fairway of the golf course. Rooms at Kleine Zalze offer views of the golf course and the surrounding vineyards and Stellenbosch Mountains. Accommodation at Kleine Zalze is available in the following units; luxury family suites, one bedroom luxury suites, superior rooms and standard rooms. Some of the suites feature kitchens or kitchenettes which are fully equipped. There are also bar fridges and tea and coffee making facilities.

Dining

The estate is home to the award winning terior restaurant. The restaurant offers 5 star fine dining and a menu that changes with the season. The restaurant was opened in 2004 and is set under large oak trees near the wine tasting and cellar area. Cusine is described as influenced by modern, french and Mediterranean style cooking.
